Our 52 week project with The Bloom Forum is on it’s 34th week. This week our theme is:

Bokeh:

In photography bokeh is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image,

or the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light

I LOVE shooting wide open and playing around with Bokeh.

I cannot believe my baby turned 15 on July 30th. Seriously, where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday she was my itty bitty 2 year old.

Where has the time gone? My “baby” will be FIFTEEN this summer. She’s asking to take driver’s ed. She’s an 8th Grade Cheerleader at her school and on student counsel. She’s now a cheerleader for a competitive team at Express Cheer. She’s seriously the best kid anyone could wish for. My wish is that time would slow down a bit.

My baby girl is 14 today. I can’t believe it! Seems like yesterday she was just starting Kindergarten and now she is a young lady. And a pretty one if I do say so myself!

I’ve taken on a challenge to myself. To take photos each week for ME! I’ll be posting some of these here.

It’s been unusually cold here. We decided to venture out since it got up in the 40′s today. We only lasted about 10 minutes! And, I’ve noticed my girl’s got roots!

My daughter and I met up with a couple of other photographers today to location hunt. I was envisioning certain photos on a bridge. I really didn’t accomplish that but I got these instead that I was really happy with. You see, it’s hard for me to get a genuine smile out of my girl!
